INSTALL OR REMOVE FILTER EASY

When installing a filter, turn the top slot clockwise until it returns to a center position. To remove a filter, use a 1/2 inch ratchet (or your hand) to turn the top slot counterclockwise until it returns to a center position. Then, place the wrench on the oil filter and remove it by inserting the ratchet wrench into the slot and turning it counterclockwise.
